The client is developing a multi-family residential project in the City of Englewood, Colorado. The site is well-connected with vehicle access, and will be easily accessible by RTD’s Englewood and Oxford light rail stations.
TEI assessed the existing multimodal transportation network in the area, and proposed improvements to decrease single-occupancy driving associated with the development. This effort considered existing plans and projects in the area, including:
- the City’s 2016 Comprehensive Plan,
- the Walk & Wheel Master Plan,
- the Light Rail Corridor Next Steps Study, and
- the City’s Complete Streets Toolbox.
Recommendations included transportation infrastructure enhancements for both the private development site and the public realm near the project, which will improve availability, safety, and convenience of active transportation options for future residents.
