First / Last Mile

A key part of our transportation planning and design work. As people who walk and bike to destinations we intimately understand the need to provide safe, comfortable access to bus stops and other destinations in communities. TEI believes that the investments we make in communities are not put to their best and highest use if people cannot access them. That’s why TEI’s team members are thoughtful about the end users of our projects and work to provide appropriate infrastructure projects, programs, and policies that work together to provide meaningful options for how people get to their destinations or access other modes of transportation.
